Every Time I Die Live On

Southern-tinged metal quintet Every Time I Die return in March with their sixth album, Ex Lives.
It is the band’s first album since 2009′s critically acclaimed New Junk Aesthetic – an album that pulled together all of the band’s previous sounds into one album, much to the delight of fans.
How will Ex-Lives fare? Last.fm Trends takes a look at the band’s scrobbles.
Every Time I Die have been scrobbled well over 11,000,000 times and their broad appeal has led to them being tagged with metal subgenres as diverse as hardcore and southern rock.
Founded in Buffalo, New York in 1998, the band soon became known for their chaotic live shows off of the back of early albums Last Night In Town and Hot Damn. Whilst the former has only been scrobbled 665,747 times, Hot Damn falls just short of the 2,000,000 scrobble mark.
Gutter Phenomenon came in 2005, with tracks such as “The New Black” opening them up to a wider audience. The track has been scrobbled 527,115 times and was their third most listened to track last week with 443 listeners.
Just a couple of days ago the band released a music video for a new track from Ex Lives entitled “Underwater Bimbos From Outer Space” which should lift the band’s scrobbles with anticipation for the new album. They have seen a bit of a dip recently, as the past twelve months graph shows below:
