Two Door Cinema Club Hit Their Stride
It’s been a great year for young Irish exports Two Door Cinema Club. Their infectious mix of electronic pop and indie rock has ensured them a place on Last.fm’s Best of 2010 with their debut album.
Back in August they were Last.fm Discover Artist Of The Week, and they’ll be playing New York’s Last.fm Festival in January. Today Last.fm Trends looks how far they’ve come by the year’s end.
Their album Tourist History has gained 4,812,493 scrobbles, placing them at the #12 spot on the Best of 2010 chart. Tracks like “Undercover Martyn” gain over 12,000 weekly listeners, eight months after the album’s release.
